Based on the film of the same name, this map can be catagorised under fear. There are 64 rooms you must safely navigate through to reach the end. The only catch is, 24 of them are trapped. To complete this map you're going to have to endure being crushed, boiled, spiked and eaten amongnst many others, the map was an insight into my surreal mind and a challenge to see just how many ways of killing someone I could come up with!

Below is a walkthrough for all those who had 'difficulty' with the map (and dont have word 97 or greater).
Simple key:

• Colours indicate room colours seen in map.
• <<< | | | and >>> mean (in order) go west, north/south (its obvious which) and east
• UP and DN means the roof and floor doors respectively
• X's indicate traps
• Level's are from the bottom of the cube, counting upwards - Level 1 is the bottom, 4 is the top.
• There are 2 start locations in the map, if you start in a room WITHOUT a bag in it, go through the floor and start from level 1 bottom right square

C U B E : NOCONC EDITION

Cube noconc differs quite a bit from the original map, with the removal of the need for concing (thus making the map much easier) and various changes to the overall map structure and colouring. Any guides are thus a little useless. The following is a complete change list:

• Removed all need for concing in the map, ladders are now provided. They take a little getting used to but work just fine in testing with another user.
• With the removal of concing, the map is now a true civilian 'escape' map, thus the only class seletable is civilian
• Swapped a few of the rooms around, changed level1 entirely.
• Altered the colour of most rooms and added new flashing lights to put you off the trail. Also added an extra 2 traps.
• Had to remove a few doors and ladders to cope with the new 'concless' ladders. Thus in some parts you may find you are unable to go back from where you came, at least this can let you know you are on the right path. Just so you don't think this is a bug.
• Changed the ending as the warp tunnel never fit in with the theme of the film Cube. The 'secret' is now not really a secret as you can jump to it rather than having to conc. Be warned you are no longer invulnerable after finishing! If you wish to see all the traps just play a game offline with deathmatch 0 + sv_cheats 1 and noclip+god around each room. Or be sadistic and lead people into traps *cough*
