actually, yes. yes it is.
now that i've got my super computer back (featuring blue neon light to make it faster), i've been able to play games again.
graphics:
lovely. job thinks they're comical but he's a chimp. the "bump-mapping"
etc works very well. the models are nice but the mouth movements are
crap (think painkiller only 10x worse (i'm not joking)). they all look
like they're sweating constantly. almost everything non-natural is
shiny.
physics: job thinks they're dated but he's just a MORAN. they're ok.
storyline: not very challenging. fun.
voice-acting:
...i hate the main character, the scientist friend, val and the mercs.
the trigens (i think that's what they're called) are the only decent
voices in the game apart from the parrots who don't seem to make a
noise. did i metion that i hate the main character? he's a total twat.
AI: depends on the mode. medium = fine, realistic = fantastically hard. medium is fun.
overall
impression: irritating (for the above points) yet fun. the bad points
balance out the good and it is a solid, linear FPS. the ladders are
amazingly crap however.hay i'm drunk on a wednesday yay
